Our PTA at Costessey Primary School
At Costessey we believe that children need to have a wealth of real-life experiences to support their curriculum learning and cultural capital. The cost of living has meant we are reluctant to put too many costs onto our families and the costs of the trips have increased significantly. Our parents have stepped in to save the day!
In September 2022 a dedicated team of our parents and staff relaunched the PTA at Costessey. They have already had a huge impact on our school community and raise over £1,500 each Term. This money will be used to enrich the experiences of children at Costessey.
The PTA organise all sorts of events through the year:
- Halloween disco
- Christmas fair
- Craft fair
- Colour run
- Mothers' Day shopping
- Quiz and chips... and many more!
In addition to this, each year, the children design Christmas cards that families can order, to make that Christmas post extra special!
And there have been many more recent additions to our events schedule, working with the community including a Father’s Day shop, ‘Wear What you love Day’ and a Summer Fair … we're sure in the future there will be even more, watch this space!
